JSTOR Register & Read

JSTOR is a full text database of articles in over 1700 academic journals. Generally access to JSTOR is by subscription only, but they have recently started Register & Read Beta (an experimental program to offer free, read-online access to individual scholars and researchers who register for a MyJSTOR account).

Registration is free, and provides access to articles in 1200 journals spread over many disciplines (not just Religion, Theology and Philosophy, but also Ecology, Politics, Women's studies, and many other areas of study).

University of Divinity Search portal

University of Divinity has released its Search Portal at . This is designed to be a research gateway that accesses a number of on-line full text databases from the same search interface. At the moment the portal retrieves records from Ebsco Religion and Philosophy Collection, ProQuest Religion, and Gale Infotrac Philosophy and Religion Collection.

This facility is now freely available to all staff and students of the University of Divinity, and will be expanded in time, as more databases come on-stream.

Students will be able to access articles through the Portal by using their TAMS user name and password. Academics have access with a user name and password obtainable from the library of their home institution.

EndNote X6

EndNote X6 discs have now arrived at the library. These are available to University of Divinity postgraduate students (and staff) only.

If you would like to install or upgrade EndNote (under the the University of Divinity's license agreement) please come to the library and ask a member of staff.
