Services to students resident outside Australia

Borrower's card Online students of Pilgrim Theological College, Jesuit College of Spirituality and Trinity College Theological School who are resident outside or Australia are regrettably not entitled to a borrower's card.

Scanning service You may request copies of parts of books not available for loan, and articles from periodicals. If the article you have requested is accessible to you in one of the sources listed on the library's Online Periodicals page (in particular, in ProQuest Religious Periodicals Database, or in one of the listed electronic journals) then you would be expected to acquire it there. If it is not, and the article is available in the Library's collection of printed materials then, providing your request is allowed under the Copyright Act, the library will scan it and email it to you. If the article is not held by the Library, you may request us to order it for you from another library, but we would charge you for the cost of the order. The least you would have to pay in that case would be $16.50. One of the requirements of The Copyright Act is that requests for copies be lodged in a certain way. For such requests therefore please use the S49 request form below, and send it to us by fax or mail. Please give accurate and complete information about the item or items you are requesting.

Access to online resources Online students have access to the library's Online resources and should apply for an ID and a PIN on the Application form for online resources below . The library's online resources include ebook collections, databases of periodical literature in full text and periodical indexes.

Other services available You may ask the library to act as your proxy in relation to any of its bibliographic resources that are not available to you online; for example, the card catalogue and any relevant printed indexes of periodical literature (but not the indexes available on this website). You may ask a member of the reference staff to help you with extended, bibliographic tasks. Please also approach the library with any general questions or concerns.

Contact person Sabine Voermans has special responsiblity for online students, but any staff member will be able to deal with your inquiries if Sabine is not available. Email inquiries should be sent to offcampus@dml.vic.edu.au.
